He is also a qualified and certified National Tour Guide Lecturer, to conduct gemological tours to geological sites in Sri Lanka. He travels to various remote gem mining areas in Sri Lanka, select and buy the needed rough gemstones by himself and as a perfect Lapidary, cut and polish some of those to suite the International market. He is also a Goldsmith instructor specialized for Rose Cluster Sapphire Jewelry.
